Florida Center for Nursing Presents: Strategies to Combat Florida's Nursing Shortage
The Florida Center for Nursing has announced a three-part webinar series highlighting strategies to combat the growing nursing shortage in Florida.
The first webinar, titled "Partnerships to Promote Student Success," will feature Kathleen Cappo, Dean of Health Sciences at South Florida State College, Elizabeth "Betty" Jordan, Senior Associate Dean of Student Success at USF College of Nursing, Rayna Letourneau, Executive Director at Florida Center for Nursing, and Samyr Qureshi, CEO and Co-Founder at Knack.

Last week, OCN Program Director Dawne Schoenthal and Research Director Dr. Rick Allgeyer spent time with nursing educators at the OHSU campus in Klamath Falls.
The interviews are part of OCN's statewide research initiative, Retaining and Elevating the Nurse Education Workforce (RENEW). RENEW is made possible by legislative-directed funds to recruit, retain, and support nurse educators across Oregon.
